Replying to the debate on Governor's address in the Assembly, Rio said the state has witnessed improvement in law and order front.

The Chief Minister also assured the House that all the specific complaints raised by the members during the debate would be taken up in all seriousness by his government.

Calling upon all members to co-operate with the government for welfare of the state, the Chief Minister defended the action of Deputy Commissioner Wokha in connection with the proposed "peace meet" by Naga National Council (NNC) and said that the DAN Government maintained "equi-clossness" to all underground groups as they are no more banned organisations.

He also informed the House that 21 government employees and some pensioners were found to be active members of NNC and the government would take stern actions against such employees.
