Day temp dips after rains

DAY TEMPERATURE took a dip following light rains early Wednesday morning. The skies remained overcast throughout the day and maximum day temperature was recorded 3 degree below normal at 22.8 degree Celsius. But the minimum temperature continues to be five degree above normal at 15.8 degree. According to the Meteorological Department office, total rainfall on Wednesday was 3.6 mm.

Besides Bhopal division, sporadic rains were reported from some places in Indore and Ujjain divisions as well. The lowest minimum temperature in the State was recorded at Tikamgarh at 9.00 degree Celsius.

The Met office has predicted light rains or thunder showers at some places in Gwalior, Chambal, Bhopal, Ujjain, Indore, Jabalpur, Rewa and Bilaspur divisions in next 24 hours. Weather at other places will generally remain dry.
