Harbhajan won the 'TVS Apache' bike as award for man of the match in the first one-dayer against England but it was speed buff Dhoni who took the first ride on the new machine.

It was a scene made for the lensmen as Dhoni, with the Turbanator in the pillion, did a victory lap on the red coloured bike after India's sensational 39-run victory at the Ferozeshah Kotla.

The Punjab off-spinner picked a career best 5-31 to rout England and was happy to let his young teammate take him around the newly revamped stadium.

But the two soon got into trouble, not with the traffic police for riding without helmet, but with the spectators who had already breached the security cordon to throng the prize presentation area.

What initially looked like a clip out of a Bollywood movie with the fans chasing the two stars quickly became an alarming situation as the players were completely mobbed by the crowd.

It took a while for the security personnel to extricate the players from the mob and restore order.
