Chief Information Commissioner Wajahab Habubullah directed the Union Ministry of Personnel early this week to disclose the information to Sunil Kumar Mishra, who had filed an appeal in 2008 after his RTI application seeking information on the assets of former Nagpur municipal commissioner Lokesh Chandra and his wife Abha Shukla — both Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers — was rejected.
The ministry had rejected his query stating that the information sought was personal.
