Besides, he warned officials that any negligence would be viewed seriously. Srivastva was presiding over the Janta Diwas at KEM Hall in Phoolbagh here on Wednesday.
The complaint regarding the encroachment of roads, drinking water, law and order should be taken on priority and efforts should be made to solve them at the earliest.
Following the instruction of the chief minister, senior Samajwadi Party leader and State Cabinet Minster Surendra Mohan Agrawal was also present at the Janta Diwas.
Addressing district officials Agrawal said that Janta Diwas had been started by the present government to ensure that people get quick relief to their problems. He directed officials to make best efforts for early disposal of complaints of their respective departments.
Besides, Agrwal asked officials to make regular visits to villages, so that the problems in rural areas could be solved on a priority.
SSP PC Meena, the chief development officer, and other senior officials of the district were present at Janta Diwas.
