Don’t air, publish 7/11 reports, court tells media
The special MCOCA court on Saturday passed an order prohibiting the media from printing or airing any news in connection with the July 11, 2006 serial train blasts case.

The special MCOCA court on Saturday passed an order prohibiting the media from printing or airing any news in connection with the July 11, 2006 serial train blasts case.
The order comes after the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) told the court that the investigations are at the crucial juncture and moved an application in the court seeking prohibition from publishing anything that would affect the probe. The ATS said the media are publishing reports contradictory to the probe and some TV channels aired Sadiq’s statements recorded by the Gujarat police.
The court remanded Indian Mujahideen co-founder Mohammed Sadiq Israr Sheikh in judicial custody till April 13.
