Don't give credence to withdrawal letter: Gowda

Gowda said the group had not been authorised either by JD(S) legislature party leader or by national president.

JD(S) President HD Deve Gowda on Wednesday said he has written to Karnataka Governor TN Chaturvedi not to give credence to the letter given by a section of his party legislators on withdrawing of support to the Congress-JD(S) coalition government in the state.

In his letter, copies of which were released to reporters at his residence, Gowda said the group had not been authorised either by JD(S) legislature party leader MP Prakash or by the party national president.

Gowda said his party would continue to support the Government.
