He inspected platform number 1 besides the area of the foot over bridge connecting platform 1 to 10, said a railway officer.
At platform number 1, the DRM found a large number of projections hampering easy movement of passengers.
He said the Railway Protection Force (RPF) office and the Movement Control Office (MCO) should be placed at the allotted place instead of encroaching a large area on the platform. He further issued directions to remove all projections from the platform.
To ensure cleanliness on platform number 1, the DRM ordered to remove the dustbin from their and place it in the circulating area.
Besides, the DRM asked the officers concerned to take measures to repair the overbridge connecting platform number 1 to 10, said the officer.
In addition to this, the DRM also examined second class waiting hall situated on the city side of the station.
When contacted, DRM SK Chaudhary said the foot overbridge needed to be repaired and officers concerned had been ordered in this regard.
