DSP from Lucknow to probe criminal?s escape

TAKING SERIOUS note of uproarious scenes over the arrest of a wanted criminal from the premises of Ramnagar police station, recently, a DSP from the office of DGP in Lucknow, arrived in the city on Friday to inquire about the case.

Ramnagar station officer had already been suspended by the SSP on Thursday.
DSP Anil Kumar Mishra, soon after his arrival in the city, went to the Ramnagar police station and talked to the concerned persons. It may be noted that a police team of Jaunpur led by Mungarabadshahpur station officer had raided the official residence of SO, Ramnagar, adjacent to the police station on April 29 to nab the wanted criminal of Jaunpur.

Both cops had exchanged heated exchange over the matter, meanwhile, the wanted criminal managed to flee the scene. It is alleged that Ramnagar SO helped the criminal to run away. The criminal is said to have helped the SO of Ramnagar in gunning down a notorious and rewarded criminal during an encounter in the city, recently.

As the matter hotted up, the DGP office took it seriously and constituted an inquiry. As part of which, DSP Anil Kumar Mishra came here and carried out the investigation.
