JD (S) today asked the electoral authorities to prevent Chief Minister S M Krishna from issuing orders with financial implications that would have a bearing on the state exchequer.

JD (S) senior leader P G R Sindhia, speaking to reporters here, alleged that the government had exempted from payment of entertainment tax in eight cases involving some resorts which totally amounted to Rs 16 crore.
It included one to the tune of Rs one crore on a resort owned by a film actor in Bangalore, he alleged.
Sindhia also alleged that Rs 48 crore was due to the state exchequer from online lotteries and that the Congress was collecting party funds from them.
