Elton John, who revealed that he had not known before hand that he was supposed to wear a tutu, joked that the only reason he had not worn the traditional pink tutu, was because the colour just didn’t suit him.
"I couldn't wear pink,” the BBC quoted him, as saying.
“I didn't know that I was going to wear one. They just told me when I got here. There was no fitting, they just had it ready," he added.
Elton John created the music for the award-winning stage version of the hit film which has been running at London's Victoria Palace Theatre.
