The 20-year-old actress, who plays Hermione Granger in the wizard franchise, enrolled in Rhode Island’s prestigious Brown University last year and admitted that she was worried about being ostracised by her fellow classmates, reported Vanity Fair magazine online.
“(The first week) was just awful. I was like, ‘I must be mad. Why am I doing this?’,” said Watson.
“People would think that I didn’t deserve to have both. (I was afraid they’d think), ‘You’re famous. You’re given free handbags. Why should you deserve to be normal?’,” she added.
But then she soon found her place — and joined in the college fun by attending a fraternity party.
