England team arrives in Jaipur

The bouyant team will take part in the one-day practice match against RCA President's Invitation XI on March 25.

The England cricket team on Thursday arrived to take part in the one-day practice match against Rajasthan Cricket Association President's Invitation XI on March 25.

After a gruelling Mumbai Test, England team members preferred to go straight to their hotel after reaching in the evening.

Earlier, four members of the one-day squad - Vikram Solanki, Sajid Mahmood, Kabir Ali and Gareth Batty - had reached and they had a light workout at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium during the day time.

Some members of the RCA President's Invitation XI team - including V Sivaramakrishnan, VRV Singh, Dishant Yagnik, Vikrant Yadav and Pankaj Singh - too had practice session.

Mohammad Kaif will arrive on Friday while skipper Ajay Jadeja and the remaining players are expected to reach on Thursday night.

However, Virender Sehwag and Gagan Khoda have been ruled out due to injuries.
