The tentative schedule for holding entrance exams was discussed at a meeting of the Association of Private Medical and Dental Colleges of MP, held in the City today.
The State Medical Education Department has allowed the association of private colleges to go in for separate entrance exams following the Supreme Court directive.
However, a Judges’ Committee would be formed to keep a watch on the process, and till the time the committee is formed, a committee formed by the State Government would review the process.
During the meeting today, it was tentatively decided that the exam form would cost about Rs 500 and the examination fee would be Rs 750.
The association is holding talks with a Delhi-based firm for professional arrangements for the entrance exams. The schedule and other details would be finalised by the association soon.
