Ex-cop arrested for shooting son to death

Rajendra Prasad Mishra on Monday shot his son Anil Mishra (37) to death from his licenced gun after they entered into an altercation, police said.

A retired head constable was arrested for shooting his son to death in Sadar Bazar area of Shahjahanpur district, police said on Tuesday.

They added that the duo were having liquor together at the time of the incident.

Anil was rushed to nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead.
