In 'Eyeful...' (HT Media Marketing Initiative, June 23), it is reported that “the Central Council for Research in Homeopath, has stated that Cineraria Maritima Schwabe eye drops prevent the development of cataracts”.

In 'Eyeful...' (HT Media Marketing Initiative, June 23), it is reported that “the Central Council for Research in Homeopath, has stated that Cineraria Maritima Schwabe eye drops prevent the development of cataracts”. This is unfortunate as it has not been proved. If this were true, why doesn’t the government initiate a national plan like the pulse-polio campaign?
