Cast: Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Bhumika Chawla, Aryeman, Shernaaz Patel, Sushant Singh
Director: Rajkumar Santoshi

Storyline: Viren Sahai (Amitabh Bachchan) is a sophisticated mercenary, a cold-blooded gangster for whom money and power is all. In contrast is his wife, the righteous, justice-loving Sharda (Shernza Patel), who knows her husband's deeds and is sure that one day they will all have to pay for his sins. It is up to her to do all she can to save her family. But will she forgive her husband, knowing that he is guilty?

Adding to the mayhem is Sahai's son Abhir (Sushant Singh), rich and spoilt, who believes that he can get away with murder as his father is there to always protect him from the law. Is his family important for him?

Then there is the other family of Shekhar (Akshay Kumar) and Kavita (Bhumika Chawla). Their's is a happy family with Akshay playing the responsible husband and brother, paying off the family debts. His wife is an equal partner. She is a doctor, and shares his belief in the family being above all. The brother Aryan (Aryeman) plays the truant in this second family. He is pampered and at the slightest hint of trouble, runs to his brother for help.

But he soon realises his responsibilities and rises to help his family.

These two families, Sahai's and Shekhar's,run parallel, unaware of each other's existence, leading apparently unconnected lives, but somehow, somewhere they collide and come face-to-face - the encounter is explosive.
