On his recent trip to London, the Mr and Mrs Smith star preferred to shun celeb haunts like The Ivy and Soho House for a peaceful boozy afternoon at a small, down-at-heel Soho pub.

While Pitt managed to get unnoticed for most of the afternoon, but as he stood up to go to the rest room, he was mobbed by fans.

"He'd been sat drinking in a corner with friends and had gone largely unnoticed for most of the afternoon, but as soon as he got up to go to the toilet the whole pub hushed,” the Daily Express quoted a source as saying.

"It was all rather embarrassing. You could cut the atmosphere with a knife.

"He ended up being trailed by about six star-struck fans as he made his way to the men's room.

"The poor chap couldn't even hope to pee in peace after that," the source added.
