Faridabad mishap: toll reaches six

more bodies of labourers were fished out by the police even as rescue operation continued on the second day.

A case of culpable homicide not amounting to murder has been registered against the owner, managing director and all the directors of SRS Real Estate Limited, SRS Multiplex City centre, Sector 12, as well as the lease holder Sukhvarsha Malhotra and contractor of the site. "I have ordered a magisterial enquiry into the incident to be conducted by the Faridabad SDM. He’ll file the report in 15 days", said deputy commissioner, Faridabad, Balraj Singh.
Meanwhile, an SRS spokesman said the site had the approval from the Directorate of Town and Country Planning, Haryana, for the construction of a nursery school.
The incident had happened around 12.45pm on Tuesday when the construction work on the nursery school was going on in full swing inside SRS Residency in Sector 88 of Greater Faridabad.
