FDI inflow touches $7.5 bn

Foreign Direct Investment into India increased to $7.5 billion in 2005-06, up 41.5 per cent from the previous year.

Announcing this in New Delhi on Wednesday, Commerce Minister Kamal Nath said he was confident that the same rate of growth would be repeated in the current fiscal, during which FDI inflow is targeted to touch $10 billion.
