The order came from chief judicial magistrate Buddhi Sagar Mishra following a petition by Anurodh Singh, the brother of Santosh Singh, one of the murdered men.
The triple murder took place at Jainthra in June. The other victims were Vijay Verma, a jeweller, and his son Mithun. Verma had employed Santosh as a security guard. The minister has been accused of pressurising Santosh to leave Verma's employment. The two men apparently had an enmity and one of the minister's henchmen, Arvind, had informed Santosh that Verma could be killed.
