Goods worth lakhs of rupees were gutted in a fire, which broke out today at a restaurant in M G Road in Indore, police said.

The fire two other shops nearby dealing in the sale of second hand cars and around 15 cars were destroyed in the blaze, they said.

Fire tenders from Indore Municipal Corporation were rushed to the spot and the flames were doused in five hours.

The cause of the fire is not yet known.
