A fire broke out on the third floor of the city corporation building in Bangalore on Saturday evening but there were no casualties.
Eight fire tenders rushed to the Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) building and put out the fire after over two hours, fire department officials said.
"..However, there is a lot of smoke which is making it difficult to actually find out what has been gutted. Some computers, furniture and number of documents appear to have been destroyed in the blaze", chief fire officer EU Erappa said.
