Fire in six shops in Ahmedabad

Fire broke today morning in a readymade garment stores at Revdi Bazar in Ahmedabad and soon it spread to the adjacent shops, fire official said.

Fire broke out in six shops located across the city in two different incidents, police said on Monday.

Fire broke on Monday morning in a readymade garment stores at Revdi Bazar in Ahmedabad and soon it spread to the adjacent shops, fire official said.

"We controlled the fire within an hour but three shops have been completly gutted," the official told PTI.

The cause of the fire is still not known, police said.

Meanwhile, in another incident that took place on Sunday night, three shops were gutted in flames when a fire broke out in a hosiery shop at Ramdevnagar area, police said.

The cause for the incident is yet not known, they said.

However, no casualties were reported for both the incidents.
