Firefighting demo at Bal Bhavan

The programme started off with a discussion on the various calamities, which occur as a result of accidents involving fire. Assistant Fire Officer Sajid Khan explained the various types of fire extinguishers (dry carbon dioxide, water etc.) in
use nowadays and emphasised on the training given to fireman and how they rescue people in case of a fire.

They gave a mock drill on how to disperse a frantic crowd with minimum casualties in the event of such a mishap. This was indeed an informative programme for children of all age groups and the day proved to be an eventful day.
