Five arrested for Congress worker's murder

Five persons arrested for the murder of a Congress worker, the cause of which is suspected to be Political rivalry.

Five persons have been arrested for the murder of a Congress worker from Hassan.

The body of Chandrashekar, a cable operator, was found lying in a pool of blood near his house on June 28. Political rivalry was suspected to be the cause of his killing, police said.

One of the accused had earlier been involved in two cases of murder and served a prison term.

The assailants had fled to Hassan after committing the crime.
