Five members of a family were killed and seven injured when a car ploughed into their van here, police said today.
Five members of a family were killed and seven injured when a car ploughed into their van here, police said on Wednesday.
The accident took place post Tuesday midnight in Buxa area.

"They were returning from a cremation in Varanasi. The condition of the injured is stated to be serious," Inspector Kamlesh Singh told reporters here, some 200 km from state capital Lucknow.
The victims were natives of Maharajganj district.
