"It is a human-to-human transmission case as the boy has no travel history," Chest Hospital Superintendent Dr SV Prasad told PTI.

The child is undergoing treatment at Chest Hospital here and with this case the tally of infected people in AP has reached 59, he said.

According to health officials, 49 out of 59 persons who tested positive for the virus have been discharged.

Meanwhile, a 30-year-old man who landed here from Malaysia today was admitted to the hospital with fever and flu-like symptoms, health officials said, adding his test reports are awaited.

"Seven suspected cases have been quarantined and their results are awaited from National Institute of Communicable Diseases, Delhi," they said.
