Former Delhi CM Khurana quits BJP

The senior leader was suspended from the party for joining Uma Bharti's rally.

Former Delhi Chief Minister Madan Lal Khurana on Thursday resigned from BJP, nearly a month after he was suspended from the party for joining expelled party leader Uma Bharti's rally in New Delhi.

"I have sent my resignation, addressed to the BJP chief (Rajnath Singh), to the party office in New Delhi," Khurana told.
