Four charred to death after BMW crash

Four people were charred to death after a car, in which they were travelling, caught fire following collision with a truck near Ognaj village on the outskirts of the city this evening, police said.

The incident took place on the Sarkhej-Gandhinagar highway when a BMW car was engulfed in fire after it dashed into a moving truck from behind, they said.

"All the four persons, who were employees of the BMW dealer here were charred to death," police said.

Their bodies have been sent to civil hosptital for post-mortem, they added.

Those dead have been identified as Dipen Soni, Yasin Sheikh, Sharad Adhare and Azam Pathan.

A case has been registered and futher investigation in the matter was on.
