Four City powerlifters felicitated

SPORTS AND Youth Welfare Department felicitated four powerlifters at Tatya Tope Stadium here today. Those feted are Dilip Sharma, Nitin Sharma, Anuya Lonkar and Rajesh Shukraware.
Rajesh had recently won a bronze medal in the Asian Powerlifting Championship. Anuya is the only woman feted. She won a medal in the Asian Powerlifting Championship.
Dilip was awarded Rs 2 lakh while the remaining received Rs 75,000 each. Congratulating the powerlifters, Director Sports Sanjay Chaudhary assured for every possible help for the game.
On the occasion, national basketball team skipper Riyazuddin and others were present.
