The event has been organised with the objective to serve a platform for the home décor manufacturers as well as audience to get acquainted with the latest trends and wide variety of home décor products available in the market.
While talking to the Hindustan Times, P Narhari said that Indore is a City with people who always look for something new and would accept the best of everything offered. The City has great potential for such a market.
Those who want to renovate or decorate their home, office or outhouse and shop could visit the fest displaying wide varieties of household products including the participation of more than 60 branded products right from vitrified tiles to rock slab, to water softener to cushion covers to stain free tile joining adhesive and brass swings moulded in different shapes appearing like made up naturally from tree branches and roots.
Candles that can be lit in water and hand pro shower are available at the exhibition at Rs 50 while the wide range of books based on vastu, home furnishing and furniture designs displayed at the show gives all the ingredients to the fair to become the favorite shoppers stop.
Many of the businessmen from Ahmedabad and other places have come here for the first time while many other participants in each of the exhibition organised in the commercial capital are looking forward to the great feedback they get each time.
“The latest designs and varieties are being displayed here to create awareness among the consumers and to get in touch with the target audience. The show would be beneficial for us as well as customers as they would get all sorts of home decorating material at one place” said Gyanesh Shastri representing Zero-B water purifier and water softner.
While many other business players like Mystique Designs displaying the lamps, sceneries and table-ware of Flora Art have come all the way from Hyderabad to participate in the show and to smell the market potential of the State’s commercial capital.
The show displaying various things for home decoration and household purposes also shows the awareness generated among the consumers since last few years. The people of the twin cities are no more dependent on the architects or decorators for the choice of laminates or tiles but they ask the decorators to design the house according to their taste.
Organising such show in the City for the fourth time also shows that the people are ready to buy the best, said one of the display booth representatives.
‘The show has been organised in 11 cities and Indore is the 12th in the series for the session 2005-06. On the occasion a ‘Best Display’ award would also be given to the best display booth on the show floor to be adjudged by professionals from the industry. The prize distribution would be held tomorrow,” said Prashant Ladhe manager Business India Exhibition.
When one is tired of shopping or window-shopping, one could also indulge in some snacks as a small section has been converted into a cafeteria.
