Four dead, 25 injured in accident in Midnapore
Four members of a wedding party are killed and 25 others injured in a road accident on national highway 6 at Debra in Paschim Medinipur district.

Four members of a wedding party were killed and 25 others injured on Tuesday when the matador they were travelling in hit a road divider on national highway 6 at Debra in Paschim Medinipur district.
The police said two sisters Parbati Jana (15) and Sikha Jana (18) and father-daughter Pranab Banerjee (50) and Bijoli Banerjee (19) died on the spot.
Eight of the critically injured were rushed to Medinipur Medical College and Hospital. Rest of the injured were admitted to Debra Hospital, police said.
The matador with 42 people on board was travelling from Debra to Radhamani area near Tamluk.
The vehicle was seized but the driver fled, police said.
