The Maoists, about 40 in number and armed with sophisticated weapons, entered into the village around 11 pm and asked Rajgrihi Mishra and Raj Kishore Tiwari to come out of their houses. Rajgrihi Mishra came out of his house but the family members of Raj Kishore said that he was not present in the house.

The Maoists took Raj Kishore’s three sons into the forest. The ultras asked the women of the family to send Raj Kishore to their Jan Adalat (kangaroo court) otherwise his three sons would face ‘drastic action’.

Rohtas SP Manu Maharaj said that no complaint had been lodged in this connection but he had sent a police team to secure release of farmers.
