Free vocational training for SC/ST youth

APPLICATIONS HAVE been invited from the educated unemployed youths of scheduled castes (SC) and scheduled tribes (ST) for special training in vocational courses through Madhya Pradesh Council for Employment and Training (MAPCET). The applications are to be submitted till October 20.

The training courses include computer hardware repairing and networking (4 months), mobile telephone set repairing (4 months) and one-year training of stenography/computer DTP training (priority to typing test pass).

The applicants should be higher secondary pass and domiciled in Madhya Pradesh. The applicant’s age should be between 18 and 35 years as on September 30, 2006. Certified copies/photocopies of all the certificates should be attached with the application. These include domicile certificate, caste certificate, mark sheets of high school and higher secondary examinations.

The candidates selected for the training will not be allowed to receive any other education/training or do any job or trade during the training period.
