Fresh bail plea filed for Monica
LOCAL LAWYERS for controversial film actress and underworld don Abu Salem?s companion Monica Bedi today moved a fresh bail application on her behalf in the court of district & sessions judge D K Puranik. The sessions court had rejected the earlier application for bail to Bedi.

LOCAL LAWYERS for controversial film actress and underworld don Abu Salem’s companion Monica Bedi today moved a fresh bail application on her behalf in the court of district & sessions judge D K Puranik. The sessions court had rejected the earlier application for bail to Bedi.
In the fresh bail application, Monica Bedi’s local lawyers Santosh Verma and Sanjay Gupta argued that prosecution was delaying filing of supplementary charge sheet in the fake passport case implicating Monica.
She is in judicial custody since December 5, 2005 despite there being no prima facie evidence of her involvement in the case while two other co-accused in the matter Siraj and Kabir are on bail.
