Gaganjit case: Hearing adjourned till Oct 25

A local court on Monday adjourned the hearing into the rape case against Punjab MLA Gaganjit Singh till October 25.

The Akali MLA, son of Tamil Nadu Governor Surjit Singh Barnala, had been released on bail last week, after his arrest under section 376 IPC on August 12 .

Judicial Magistrate (Class-I) RK Singla on Monday adjourned the hearing to October 25 as Judicial Magistrate (Class-I) Harkirat Kaur, who has been hearing the case, is on leave on Monday.
