Call it a clean dhaba or a down-at-heel restaurant, but Galina has outlasted the competitive restaurant environment and metamorphosed from a meat shop to a post-Partition success story just on the strength of serving decent Punjabi food at decent prices. The menu’s highlights are Mutton Barra, Mutton Qorma, Murgh Malai Tikka and Saag Chicken, besides kidney and liver preparations. The Dal Makhni is avoidable and the vegetarian selections basic. Now that the air cooling is in place, you can have a comfortable meal at the restaurant, though parking can be a nightmare during the day.
