Superintendent of police Jagdish Sharma said there was no indication of rape as alleged by the minor’s family.

“The post-mortem report has not given any indication of sexual assault, but we have sought a second medical opinion,” he said.

Police sources said even forensic experts could not pick up any sign of sexual assault.
The incident took place while the victim’s family had gone to Meerut.

In their complaint, her family had said that they suspected that the Class 9 student was raped and four local boys were involved in the incident.
