Addressing a press conference, the president of the organisation, Dr K L Mishra and other leaders Vasant Parashar, Prakash Veer Sharma and K L Sharma said that a meeting of the Brahman International Organisation would be held in Gandhi Udyan on January 26 to commence a drive of sending inland letters and postcards to the President of India Dr A P J Abdul Kalam demanding reservation on the basis of economic condition of all the classes of the society.

He said even the former prime minister Vishwanath Pratap Singh, who implemented the Mandal Commission recommendations, has stated that the reservation for SC, ST and OBC classes is not relevant today. The circumstances in which this reservation was applied have now changed. Though the reservation was necessary at that time but today it has created new problems for the country.
