Goa police spokesman Atmaram Deshpande told PTI that NIA team was supposed to arrive on Monday but has not intimated about their plans.

"They might come at any time as they have already taken over the case. Goa police have to just hand over the investigation details," he said.

Deshpande said that Goa police is yet to receive any intimation about their arrival even as SIT has kept all the documents ready to be handed over to them.

"There is no need of intimation too, they can come at any time, may be today evening or tomorrow and take over the records," he clarified.

NIA on December 16 had written to Goa court intimating them about taking over Margao blast case from SIT. They had also informed that two different cases are registered related to the blast and recovery of explosive substances from a village near Vasco town on October 16.
