Governor urged to order review of Bill

A DELEGATION of the Electro-homeopathy Sangharsh Samiti, led by leader of opposition Jamuna Devi, submitted a memorandum to Governor Dr Balram Jakhar requesting him to order review of the recently passed `MP Chikitsa Shiksha Sanstha (Niyantran) Sanshodhan Vidheyak ? 2006? and providing patronage to electro-homeopathy.

The representatives of the Samiti reasoned that Chhattisgarh had already granted recognition to electro-homeopathy and alternative medicine in that state.

Even the Supreme Court had ordered the MP government to create proper standards for electro-homeopathy, but the state government had taken no step in that direction, members of the delegation alleged.

Later the Samiti spokesman informed that the Governor assured to look into the matter and take suitable decision on it.
