Govt sanctions filling up of grade III teachers

STATE GOVERNMENT has accorded sanction for filling up as many as 26, 537 vacant posts of contract teachers grade-III in the State.

Necessary guidelines have been issued to all the district collectors, district education officers, district organisers, chief municipal officers and block development officers in this regard, said an official release issued here.

Of the total vacant posts of contract teachers grade-III, a maximum of 1,486 posts will be filled up in the Jhabua district, 466 in Sheopur Kalan, 729 in Morena, 708 in Bhind, 886 in Gwalior, 875 in Shivpuri, 662 in Guna, 441 in Ashok Nagar, 251 in Datia, 271 in Dewas, 587 in Ratlam, 143 in Shajapur, 343 in Mandsaur, 316 in Neemuch, 566 in Ujjain, 762 in Indore and 867 vacant posts will be filled up in Dhar district.

Similarly, contract teachers grade - III will be recruited on 933 vacant posts each in Khargone and Barwani districts, 106 in Khandwa, 84 in Burhanpur, 418 in Bhopal, 730 in Raisen, 852 in Rajgarh, 770 in Vidisha, 481 in Betul, 313 in Harda, 1009 in Sagar, 283 in Damoh, 629 in Chhatarpur, 1142 in Tikamgarh and 650 in Jabalpur district.

Moreover, 368 contract teachers grade - III will be appointed in Katni district, 271 in Narsinghpur, 762 in Chhindwara, 485 in Seoni, 670 in Mandla, 310 in Dindori, 569 in Balaghat, 375 in Shahdol, 365 in Umaria, 101 in Anuppur, 1,202 in Sidhi and 605 vacant posts filled in Satna district.

Reservation for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and other backward classes will be made on the basis of a roster maintained for appointing officers. While the reservation for disabled persons will be made by the district Collector at the district level.

The vacant posts of Gurujis in the Education Guarantee Schools upgraded to primary schools in the year 2003-04 will be filled up by contract teachers grade –III, the release added.
