Govt takes steps to check display of vital installations on net

The Centre has initiated necessary steps to check the display of images of vital installations on websites Union Minister of State for Home Sriprakash Jaiswal said in a written reply in Lok Sabha.

The Centre on Tuesday said it has initiated necessary steps to check the display of images of vital installations on websites.

"The Government is aware of images of some vital installations/areas are available on the websites including www.Wikimapia.Com and has initiated necessary steps with reference to the matter," Union Minister of State for Home Sriprakash Jaiswal said in a written reply in Lok Sabha.
