Police said that Paramjit Kaur, her father Harbans Lal and a tantric, Kulwinder Singh, were arrested from near this city, 150 km from Chandigarh.

They have been charged with abetment to suicide of Khali's father-in-law, Banta Ram, a police head constable.

The police had found a suicide note with the victim and forensic examination of that confirmed that it had been written by him. He had blamed the illicit relations of his second wife, Paramjit Kaur, with tantric Kulwinder as the reason which drove him to take his own life.

Khali, whose name is Dalip Singh Rana, is based in Atlanta in the US where he lives with his wife, Harminder Kaur.
