"Since Dalip Singh Rana is a famous wrestler and has immense fan following his security has been tightened and District Police in Kangra has been directed to take steps necessary for his security" Deputy Inspector General of Police (Intelligence) N. Venugopal told Hindustan Times.

Great Khali is coming on a single day tour to Kangra district; he would attend a felicitation function organized in Jawali on Wednesday afternoon.

In the wake of threat perception to Great Khali, police has increased vigil along the route great Khali would take to reach Jawali from Shimla.

Apart from the extra security cover, CID has also deputed its sleuths in plain clothes to keep track of ' suspicious' elements.
