Actress Gwyneth Paltrow is set to play Marlene Dietrich, the Hollywood legend known for her flashy nightclub lifestyle.
The German actress was known for her dependence on drink and drugs, plus a string of affairs with the likes of Frank Sinatra, Yul Brynner and John Wayne.
Paltrow will take the lead acting and producing role in a BBC drama of Dietrich’s life written by Andrew Davies.
