The fabled hanging gardens of Arabia might not be shrouded in history. This video looks at the Yemen Dutch Development Programme which is trying to restore the terrace farming in the mountains of Yemen. The project is trying to revive traditional water harvesting techniques that got lost by some misguided aid projects. For centuries the Yemenese have sustained themselves through an intricate web of terraces harvesting every available source of water.
