Haryana BJP in turmoil

Five senior Haryana BJP members resigned from their posts, protesting allotment of ticket to "criminal" Jaivir Godara from the Hisar seat.

Five office-bearers of BJP in Haryana have resigned from their posts in protest against the allotment of party ticket from Hisar Lok Sabha seat to Jaivir Godara.

The BJP office-bearers alleged that the candidate was an outsider and had a criminal background.

Those who resigned include, member BJP state election management committee Rajinder Malik, vice president of city BJP Narander Soni, Sajjan Kumar and Suresh Munjal, secretaries of the city BJP.
