HBO wins the Indian Telly Award 2005
The channel got this award for the best English movie channel in India for the second year.
HBO, has won the prestigious 2005 Indian Telly Award for the best english movie channel in India , for the second year in a row.
To add to this HBO's Blockbuster Of The Month': Spider-Man 2 that premiered on 27 January is the top rated movie of 2005 – 2006 across all English Movie Channels.
Winning the Best English movie channel award in 2005 yet again is no mean achievement. HBO was selected for the honour by a panel of jury comprising eminent personalities from the film and entertainment industry such as Mr. Ratikant Basu, Mr. Prasoon Joshi, Ms. Mahabanoo Mody Kotwal, Ms. Priya Singh Paul, Mr. Goldie Behl, Mr. Lekh Tandon, Ms. Mona Kapoor, Mr. Rakesh Sharma, Ms. Ruby Bhatia, Ms. Suchitra Pillai and Mr. Yunus Bukhari amongst others .
HBO was selected from among all the English movie channels being broadcast in India by the jury members.
